Stagecoach Restaurant - Comfort Food American Breakfast & Brunch in Elk Grove, CA

Absolutely the best lil breakfast... lunch or brunch... you wont be disappointed in food... atmosphere... or service... a must visit!!!

Touted as an Elk Grove institution by the quilting ladies in the sew & vac next door, which served large portions, we gambled on lunch and struck it rich! The decor is western, stagecoach theme, as the name suggests. The booths had a comfortable seat cushion. We order the Sourdough burger. We got fries and soup or salad with it. No up charge for onion rings or sweet potato fries, which we both ordered. The sweet potato fries were the best I’ve had! Ranch dipping dressing was good too. The chicken tortillas soup was fresh and homemade. Yummy! The burgers, ordered medium, were large and spot on! Hand formed fresh meat perfection! A pile of iceberg lettuce, pickles, tomatoes and purple onion shavings were stacked on side, the bbq sauces cups came on a separate plate. Waitress check backs were great. We came in at 1:00 pm and were out by 2:00. Homey atmosphere, with the wait staff telling kind affectionate stories about the ownership. Woman’s bathroom was homey and warmly decorated. The men’s room…not so much. Lol! Clean enough though!

This restaurant is so cute. It reminds me restaurants in small town. Love the decorations, it's giving fall or thanksgiving because of the colors. The food was amazing, as soon as I came in I was seated. The host and waiter was kind and friendly. I wish they had this place where I live. I will be coming back here for sure.

First time trying out this restaurant, we were the 1st ones to arrive when they opened at 6 o'clock in the morning on Saturday. Our waitress was quick to come over to see if we needed anything and to get our drink orders started. She was also happy to answer my questions I questions about the different dishes. There is quite a good selection of menu items including a vegetarian menu. Shown here is a savory crepe dish that came with 2 sides, I chose hash browns and grits. My husband ordered the corn beef hash dish. Both of our meals were extraordinarily tasty and we will be happy to return soon to try more!

Breakfast there today. Had eaten at other locations and was not disappointed. The food was good. The service was great. The restaurant was busy, but it was so worth the wait. We both had the big breakfast with bacon, eggs, and a pancake.

This Restaurant and location is by far, the "best" breakfast you will find. Fried is mostly a hit & miss these days and the fact that they offer Fried is a definite plus for me, since I'll choose a pork chop over beef 99% of the time. It's tender, moist and flavorfully without being y, their (scramble) 's are awesome, the country potatoes are off the hook and the ample variety of mimosas completes the experience. Their servers are attentive, professional and friendly. This is a "must" try.. A+A+A+

Great food, great people. They can accommodate big groups and take an only like me. Everything was superb. I ordered a cinnamon roll to go & they put the icing in a separate container to help keep it fresh. LOVE this place and everyone who works there

This place is 4th generation family owned. They source locally raised farm eggs and have a warm family atmosphere and good coffee and that vintage Elk Grove hospitality. Give it a try if you haven't. Those of you that have, know what it is about.
